Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By installing or using ProfitPulse ("the App"), operated by JRL Software Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App. These terms apply in addition to the Shopify Terms of Service and the Shopify Partner Program Agreement.

2. Description of service

ProfitPulse is a Shopify application that provides real-time profit and loss tracking by analyzing your order and product data. The App calculates net profit by combining your Shopify order data with cost information you provide (COGS, shipping rates, ad spend, and other custom costs).

3. Account and access

• You must have an active Shopify store to use ProfitPulse
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate cost data for profit calculations to be meaningful
• You must not share your account access with unauthorized parties

4. Data access and permissions

ProfitPulse requires read access to your Shopify order and product data. By installing the App, you authorize us to access this data as described in our Privacy Policy. We access only the minimum data required to provide our service and do not access customer personal information.

5. Pricing and billing

• ProfitPulse costs $19/month, billed through Shopify
• A 14-day free trial is included with every new installation
• No credit card is required to start the trial
• After the trial, charges appear on your Shopify invoice
• You may cancel at any time from your Shopify admin with no cancellation fees

6. Accuracy and disclaimer

Profit calculations depend on the accuracy of cost data you provide and the completeness of your Shopify order data. ProfitPulse provides estimates and should not be used as a sole basis for financial, tax, or accounting decisions. We recommend verifying figures with your accountant or financial advisor.

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JRL Software Ltd and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or its infrastructure
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the App
• Use the App in a way that violates Shopify's terms of service

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Termination

You may stop using ProfitPulse at any time by uninstalling the App from your Shopify admin. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or if required by Shopify. Upon termination, we delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above.
